HipQuake Belly Dance Fitness

This class is a full-body workout that uses a combination of light calisthenics and belly dance movements in isolation to tighten and tone the body. Emphasis is on fusion Turkish and Egyptian belly dance with a little African and Latin Dance. This class will focus on burning calories (min. Burn per class *450 calories) having fun and advancing the skills for all returning students. Veil will continue to prominently feature. The instructor may have a few available for us; however, you may purchase or bring your own. Ages 16 & Older

The class will be held outdoor (in case of inclement weather virtual classes will be held)

Notes: 
  • All dance techniques can be modified to address individuals' physical limitations
  • Items available for purchase: Hip Scarves & Class Music
  • Attire: Socks, Ballet or Jazz Slippers and close-fitted fitness tops
  • Veil requirements: Size (L): 2.5 - year materials; (W): 36 in. Materials Type: Silk, Chiffon, or any lightweight material

Mondays: Starting March 7th

SESS. I: March 7th - April 11th
Beginners: 6:00-7:00pm
Advanced: 7:00-8:00pm

FEE: $40.00 (per participant) | 6 week program
