CENTRAL AVENUE IMPROVEMENT STUDY

The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (DoTH) is conducting a study to help identify potential improvements along Central Avenue from Sauk Trail to the U.S. 30 (Lincoln Hwy).

The 1.5-mile project area is located within the Village of Matteson, Richton Park, and unincorporated Rich Township, and crosses the Canadian National Railroad (CNRR) and Old Plank Road Trail. DoTH has initiated this study to advance the long-term goals outlined in Cook County's Long Range Transportation Plan Connecting Cook County. Connecting Cook County
