Knox Boxes
The Matteson Fire Department requires the installation of a Knox Box to gain entry into a building, if necessary.
Once the installation is made on the outside of your building, please call the Fire Prevention Bureau at 708-748-5129 and someone will come out and place your keys in the box while you are present.
To obtain a Knox Box application please visit Fire station #1 located at 3445 W. 211th Street, or call Fire Prevention Bureau and an application will be mailed to you. All completed applications must be returned to Fire Prevention Bureau for processing.
