Applications for the 2017 Frank M. Clark/John T. Hooker Scholarship Available!

The Exelon African-American Resource Alliance (EAARA) - Chicago Chapter is proud to announce we are accepting applications for the 2017 Frank M. Clark/John T. Hooker scholarship! We will award twenty-six (26) scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each, to support the scholastic endeavors of African American students who are attending or plan to pursue a college or university education.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Be an African-American Illinois resident in the ComEd service territory
  • Attend or plan to enroll in a 2-year or 4-year degree program at an accredited college/university
  • Have a 2.75 minimum cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale

Application packages are due by midnight CST on May 1, 2017. Be sure to fill out the application (see EAARAScholarshipApplication2017.pdf file attached and link to fill out the scholarship application online) and submit materials per the instructions so that your submission can receive full consideration. Application packages must be submitted via email to EAARAChicagoScholarship@ComEd.com. Incomplete and/or late submissions will not be considered.

Children and relatives of ComEd/Exelon employees and contractors are eligible to apply (with the exception of EAARA officers and committee chairpersons).
