MISSION STATEMENTTo expand access to educational opportunities by involving and assisting the private sector in the support of students and in the encouragement of educational achievement.
GOALTo organize effective fundraising efforts with minimal expense, allowing us to give the best and most scholarships possible.
Matteson's Scholarship Program is organized by local citizens to help provide financial aid, personal encouragement and support to our youth as they pursue higher levels of academic achievement. From 1999 to 2008 we have proudly awarded $61,400 in scholarships to 88 worthy applicants.

Q: Who is eligible for Scholarships?
A: Matteson students who are seniors in high school or who has a parent who resides in Matteson.
Q: Where can I get a scholarship application?
A: Scholarship Applications are available at Rich Central High School & Rich South High School Career Centers, Matteson Library, Matteson Village Hall and on our village website:
DFS application.
Q: When would I be notified if I am a scholarship recipient?
A: You would be notified by the Village of Matteson no later than April 15, 2010.
