Bicycle Unit
 The Bicycle Unit is a proactive unit that utilizes officers to work within the community to improve the quality of life within the Village of Matteson. This unit prevents criminal activity by establishing a personal police presence. It enhances community policing efforts by promoting positive contacts with the public which will enhance communication and lead to problem solving.
